A recent headline from NewsMax reads, "Illegals May lose tuition break"

Why is this even a story?

Peole on the Right continue to wonder, " What is it about the word, 'Illegal' that liberals don't understand? " and what is it about the word, 'deport' that they just do not get? "

The most puzzling word in that headline is the word, "may." That means, maybe the illegals will continue to get their tuition break in Nebraska (the story was about tuition in NB).

While a Round-up of illegal aliens is not a bad idea, it is hardly needed. Whenever an illegal alien comes in to sign up for tuition breaks, or for medical care, or for Food Stamps, or for a drivers license, or... you name it... just arrest them; feed them, nurse them, and then deport them.

Libero-socialists need to learn that "illegal" does not refer to a sick bird.

In the face of this latest attempt at murdering almost 300 US citizens, Homeland Security has a few words of wisdom...

First Homeland Security chief, Napolitano (Nappy, for short) said the system worked well, following the incident itself.

But she was forced to add that the system failed miserably, in events leading up to the attempted explosion. How does Nappy account for this failure? Simple. She blamed the GWB administration. Nappy said that the procedures GWB instituted, lead to the terrorist getting onto two planes without being checked.

Strange though, how she doesn't account for the fact that she had almost a full year to anaylze and reject and modify anything she didn't like about GWB's highly successful security plan. The fact that she didn't change GWB's policies after a year, is indicative of the fact that she approved of them.

Homeland Security also is saying that this terrorist acted alone. Translated, that means, they think we are all the biggest bunch of morons in the history of the universe. There's too much about this terorist's activities before boarding the plane, and in planning the explosion, that demonstrate he is indeed part of an organized plot to kill Americans... Homeland Security notwithstanding.

Nappy is a bureaucrat- you can tell, just by listening to her responses to questions given her by the press. She's not answering the specific questions, and she prattles on, about GWB.

It appears that the motto of the obama Security plan, is "Passenger... save thyself."

The muslim guy that tried to blow up that Airbus 330  (with 278 passengers) has given credit to al qaeda for the effort.

Jeepers... how much milk, and how many cookies will the comedy team of obama & holder have to give this guy, in order to make him tell the details of the planned attack?

The device didn't explode as the inept muslim wanted. Could it have been that the device was not made properly, or could it have been the fact that a passenger is said to have jumped onto the perpetrator- thus foiling the attack?

If it was the latter, then the man who saved the 278 passengers, should be warned that obama & holder may file charges against him for assaulting the perpetrator... obama doesn't want any of that "cowboy stuff" in his America. holder will most likely have insisted that the Hero just call 911 and wait for protection.

Of one thing we can be certain; obama & holder will miss the opportunity to find out the details of just who planned it, when, where the planning was done, and how the plan was to have evolved. Expect obama/holder to treat this terrorist with kid gloves, and the consequences for further, perhaps similar attacks, will escalate. 

We don't need the "why" from this guy, since his koran tells him that Americans are infidels- and you know what they want for infidels.

Hard to tell the difference between detroit and beirut. After years of local and state government by liberals and neo-socialists, our reward is the blight of detroit. Look at all the major US cities and see the same political and economic disease. That is, whenever the liberals are in charge, the foundation crumbles.

Why does this happen?

Liberalism needs money. They get it by taxing people who have it, and through the force of their unions; they force employers to hand $$$ over to them. The reward, is that slowly but surely, the people with money go elsewhere. They can find employees who don't feel they should be partners in the enterporise instead of workers within it. They can find states and other countries where the tax burden is not ridiculously high.

What's left behind, is the slow rot of the population centers.

Why don't these regions fix themselves? Simple. It's because liberals keep handing out money to the people left behind. They get this money by taxing individuals all over the rest of the nation.The people left behind in these rotting cities people will therefore, not take an interest in their own well-being... since libero-socialism is taking care of them ad-infinitum.

What this creeping socialism has brought to the cities, is now being brought to us on a national basis. The latest is the healthcare bill just passed by the senate, and previously passed by the house. Once they reconcile the differences in their two bills, obama sill sign it into law... and then we can struggle with the most damaging consequences yet, of American neo-socialism.

Now that the senate has passed its version of the socialist healthcare bill, it appears that obama will soon be able to sign it into law. That assumes, of course, that the House-Senate Reconciliation bill gets passed. That's quite likely, since reconciliation only needs 51 of the 100 senatorial votes.

But the people have made it known that they dont want this creeping socialism. The people are expressing their disapproval. Here's how the pollster Rasmussen put it...

"The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-six percent (46%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21 That’s the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President."

Don't expect these 100 senators to go back to their states and hold town meetings about healthcare. They'll avoid such meetings like the plague. They know how the people feel, and are hoping that the people will cool off before the next election.

Given the poor long-term memory of the US electorate, the senators are probably right.

The democrat senate has voted (60-40) to restrict debate on the uber-liberal healthcare bill.

With debate restricted, the path is clear for the senate to have a final vote on this step towards Ameican socialism/communism.

The American people are strongly against this bill, but the democrats are plowing ahead, anyway. So many have regrets that they voted for obama in the first place. However, regrets don't count. The people voted this gang into office... liberal extremist House, Senate, and WhiteHouse. The people have the government they called for.

The liberal talkers had been ridiculing Mary Landrieu (D., LA) and Ben Nelson (D., NB) because those two senators had reservations about supporting the bill, and had to be bribed to accept it- going against their "principles." I guess Blanche Lincoln's (D. AR) objections to the bill just faded into the sunset.

Funny how the liberal talkers slammed Landrieu and Nelson- calling them "traitors" and worse. But now that they are on board with the momentum of this thing, the talkers can focus on Bart Stupak and the 40 or so members of the House who said they couldn't support any modification of their House Bill during House-Senate reconciliation towards the final bill.

If Stupak and his gang hold their position, then they can expect a barrage of insults from their fellow demogogues... err democrats. 

The news today, is that a mosque is being built at the site of the World Trade Center.

It wasn't enough for them to down the Towers... now we have to endure the s(p)it in our collective faces.

It wasn't enough for them to kill over 2700 people... now we have their trials converted to a 3-ring 'legal' circus, not far from the WTC Site.

Obama could have put a stop to all of this. Instead, he plans on curtailing even the successful drone attacks that are decimating the ranks of the taliban and al qaeda. Instead, he heaps criticism on Israel, for not passively enduring the rocket attacks from his muslim cohorts.

How much longer before the people realize that this guy is a closet muslim, crying out loud, to be "found out" ? 

And once & for all, it would be interesting to know if obama can see his Kenyan birthplace, from the back porch of the White House.

It wasn't too long ago that Israel began to retaliate against the hamas effort to lob Kassam missiles randomly into Israel.

At first, Israel did not strike back, because they feared the reaction from the world. Why? I don't know. Israel has never figured out that the vast majority of the world will hate them, no matter what they do about anything.

Europe is in the process of islamization, in which the cultures of their individual nations are being swallowed up from within, and being replaced by the muslim theocracy.

Since Tzipi Livni was in charge when Israel began retaliation, the UK has issued an arrest warrant for her to answer charges in a British court... because of the muslim claim that Israel was deliberately harming palestinian civilians in Gaza during its retaliation efforts.


In fact, hamas supported groups firing Kassams from population centers in gaza, purposely. They expected that Israel would be refrain from any effort to eliminate the threat as long as hamas hid behind its women and children.

Isreal was right to retaliate in its own self-defense. Isreal was even careful to issue warnings to localities in gaza that attacks were imminent. Beyond that, if there was collateral damage, then the blame belongs to hamas.

Israel needs to keep its leaders out of europe... err eurabia.

Israel also needs to tell the UK to take that warrant for the arrest of Livni, roll it up, and shove it up their collective a$$e$.

Israel might be better off now, to also keep its leaders out of the US, since American Jews have sided with obama in his extremely pro-muslim foreign policy.

Israel should also realize that direct requests to the people of the US (through, for example, full page newspaper ads) for foreign financial aid will most likely be more productive than requesting anything from the obama administration.

The Washington Post today, says that Senator Lieberman's failure to sign on to the government takeover of the healthcare industry, will cause the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. Presumably they mean the uninsured.

It really is possible to help those who find themselves uninsured against catastrophic health porblems, without enabling the US government to swallow up the healthcare industry.

Libero-socialists (e.g., 'journalists') need to understand that simply possessing health insurance is not a cure for death.

It will be interesting to see how the Washington Post would handle reporting on the hundreds of thousands of deaths attributable to obamacare's Death Panels... err.. "advisory boards" once the necessary rationing under obamacare gets underway.

The mere act of disagreeing with socialist's solutions to the world's problems, is not the same as denying that the problems exist... it's just acceptance of the fact that libero-socialism isn't the only solution- more likely, the liberal path is an inherent part of the problem itself.

This index has reached a new low of -19, for two consecutive days. See that it represents the difference between the number of people who strongly approve of the president's performance/policies and those who strongly disapprove.

Notice that the number of those who strongly disapprove had a significant uptick, and the number of those who strongly approve, had a significant decrease.

Getting that undeserved nobel prize didn't help obama at all. He was supposed to be the anti-Bush president; but his acceptance speech made him sound precisely like ex-President Bush. obama is still trying to have the Afghanistan war both ways. He wants to increase troops as his generals have requested- but he wants a peace prize for doing it. GWB didn't need a peace prize- he knew that stopping the taliban and al qaeda are crucial to ultimate peace. This is a concept that liberals and socialists the world over, simply cannot comprehend. Besides, Americans, at least, no longer attach any credibility to the nobel peace prize, since the committee has decided in the last few years, that it should only go to leftist crackpots.

Also, obama attending that phony global warming conference in Denmark has also not helped his (dis)approval rating among Americans. As a liberal deny-er of truth (a la algore) obama cannot bring himself to admit that his stand on human-induced global warming is erroneously based on falsified measurements by the leftist "scientists" who took a political stand that would ensure their funding- hence their jobs.
 
obama might get a few upticks here & there as time passes, but the general trend of (dis)approval will continue negative in the long term.

Global warming is caused by man. Heck with the evidence that solar activity is involved, and that there is evidence of global warming on other planets in the solar system.

Global Cooling is caused by Global Warming.

I hope that the record this 16-year-old is seeking (youngest to navigate around the world) permits her to take the alternate path through the Straits of Magellan, rather than the Cape Horn route.

In accepting his nobel peace prize today, obama declared that he would pursue his efforts to combat global warming. This guy is in, way over his head. He's a boy doing a man's job. He's the proverbial deer in the headlights of his own disastrous economic policies.



Now that the so-called science behind the global warming models has been shown to be fraudulent (i.e., by the whistleblower's expose of the emails), obama will go full steam ahead, anyway.

Too bad obama and his cohorts in the congress appear to have never heard of the Scientific Method. If they were aware of how real science operates, they would cease planning on spending money to cure a potentially non-existent problem- and wait for a more thorough, and decidely more honest analysis of the multi-faceted problem.

To make matters worse, obama has been shrieking about Republicans scaring people about the consequences of his economic policies.

But Republicans point out that it was obama, himself, who promised less than 8% unemployment (instead of the current 10%) when he got his hands on that Corporate Bailout money... and it was obama, not Republicans, who altered the economic course of the nation from its capitalist path to one becoming more & more mired in libero-socialism.

Not only is it obama himself, doing the scaring but the guy seems to be afraid of the negative progress his own plans are causing.

The banks are starting to return the TARP money they got from obama (i.e., from you, me, the taxpayer). It'll soon amount to about $200 Billion returned. The quick turnaround by the banks is in response to all the strings attached to money, and the consequent stranglehold obama had on them.

Does obama plan to return this money to the treasury? Heck no. He's already floating trial balloons, attempting to justify spending the money to stimulate the economy... hoping his government can create jobs with it.

Isn't that what the obama Stimulus Package of $800 Billion was supposed to do? Didn't work, did it.

Since there was no stimulation of the economy by the $800 Billion wastage, obama figures to toss in the other $200 Billion he's getting from the banks.

But here's the real irony of the situation in which this guy finds himself...  obama wants to use the money to cover tax cuts for small businesses. He hopes they will respond by employing more people,  since small businesses are the single greatest source of employment in the nation.

Jeepers--- isn't that tax cuts for the rich ?????

Surely, poor people dont have businesses. Surely they don't need employees. Libero-socialists (democrats) will figure that obama's lost his mind, planning to cut taxes to the people who can employ others--- tax cuts for the rich. It would be funny if it weren't pathetic.

This guy has been planning to allow GWB's tax cuts (which chugged the economy along quite well for 7 years- until congress messed it up) to expire.  Looks like he might reconsider after an economics lesson learned.

Somehow though, there'll be no credit to GWB or Conservatives for a low-tax economic policy that actually works !

Only 20 of the 435 members of the US Congress have signed on, to the letter requesting that the military cease the court martial of the SEALs for fattening the lip of the terrorist they captured in Iraq ( you know... the one responsible for killing, torturing, burning, and hanging the four US civilian guards).

Every person in the chain of command who wishes to continue this prosecution, should be made to go into the field, and forced to capture a known terrorist- and not come back until mission is accomplished. Let them see how utterly difficult such a capture is- and let them see how many times they have a brush with death in the process.

It isn't easy, by any means. If the only complaint is a fat lip issued by one of the SEAL heroes, then these personnel are especially most deserving of our medals and high honors; they should even be given financial credit as would a bounty hunter receive.

The US Congress, and the military legal brass seems to be nothing more than a bunch of fools, since they are not aware of the al qaeda training whereby a captive is instructed to complain that his rights have been violated. That's just how "Gitmo" got to be such a dirty word among libero-socialists, the world over. 

The only viable candidate on the Right that I know to have Conservative principles, is Sarah Palin. Name anyone else... even Gingrich has twinges of "moderateness" and anyone else is notably to the left of him.

Huckabee has been vocal of late. He says that he "doesn't see a lot in common between himself and former Gov. Sarah Palin" according to WorldNetDaily. That statement, alone, disqualifies him from getting the attention of the Conservative base.

When asked to compare himself to Palin, Huckabee answered, "Well, it's hard for me  to say what's different because I don't know... she has a very different political direction than I do. I'm not sure of her future politically, and I'm really not sure of mine either."

Doesn't seem to know much about where he fits, in the grand scheme of things.

Commuting that cop killer's prison sentence won't help him either.

Jesse Jackson is reported to have said that if he was walking down the street and saw a couple of young black males coming his way, then he'd cross over to the other side of the street. Call that profiling if you wish.

Call it whatever you want... but if I'm on a plane and a dozen muslims in "full attire" get onto the plane and disperse throughout the cabin, then I'm getting off before the doors shut. Period. If its good enough for ol' Jesse...

That's the way the pilots and very upset stewardesses saw it too (along with about a dozen passengers), but only after these characters began to act in strange ways:

It's amazingly un-clear how the airline saw this as a minor incident:

-- One muslim calling another, both on the plane, and talking "loudly and aggressively" in arabic
-- Two muslims start watching a video, after being told that electronics had to be off
-- One muslim calling the stewardess an "infidel dog" and screaming in her face
-- All "11" getting up and walking the cabin area simultaneously
-- Making "gestures with their hands as if they were shooting people"

Look at all the violence committed against mankind by muslims in the recent, and distant, past... and justify if you can, why you think it would be safe to fly with that bunch.

It surely doesn't help that the airline is reported to have said that "it was no more than a minor disturbance."

Muslims the world over, are laughing at us. The airline was so afraid of litigation. Perhaps the non-muslim passengers should now sue instead.

Will there ever come a time when the US realizes that there is not radical islam and moderate islam... there's just islam. It's unfortunate that most people in the US will not read their Bibles, so they are not about to start reading the koran. If they did, then they'd understand.

During the presidential campaign, obama couldn't stop criticizing the GWB plan for Afghanistan.

GWB could stand some criticizing about both the Iraq and Afghanistan military operations. However, obama has changed his own solution. He originally said that Afghanistan was the real war. He said he would immediately increase troop strength, and carry out the one objective- get bin laden. obama was highly critical of GWB for not having gotten bin laden.

Well, obama's own top general advised him to increase troop strength... and somehow, obama took months to figure out what he already knew he had to do.

The real problem with obama's plan is that he has indirectly advised the enemy to go into hiding until after July 2011. At that time, obama will evacuate US troops from Afghanistan- and osama will re-enter the region (assuming of course, that he, bin laden, is still alive after Tora Bora). 

Both GWB and obama do not understand the meaning of a war. It's purpose, as Rush often says, is to kill people, and break things. But these two presidents send our soldiers to Afghanistan (and for that matter, Iraq too) with their hands tied behind their backs, and blindfolded. They will not unleash our military strength and get the job done, because they fear criticism from the weakling wimpy nations who stand to indirectly benefit from our efforts.

Oh well..

Unemployment in the US now exceeds 10%.

Obama promised that it wouldn't exceed 8%, given the effects he 'hoped' for, from his 'stimulus' package.

This guy is therefore calling together the people he thinks are the giants of industry and economics, to meet and figure out how to get jobs throughout the land. But obama's looking for ways to install more government jobs. You know... the ones that are temporary in nature- like building a bridge or paving a road.

Obama is impervious to the fact that a healthy private industry, with tax incentives (like GWB gave) is the only way to create permanent jobs. Wanna bet that the real economics thinkers- like Larry Kudlow, or Neil Cavuto will be there? No way.

That makes this "Jobs Summit" a laughing matter. It won't be taken seriously by anyone- least of all, by obama himself.

Unfortunately though, the joke's on us.
