Obama's HealthCare Conference
Obama reneged on his promise to have all aspects of the healthcare bill discussed and formulated in open meetings- televised on C-SPAN.

He figured to make points with the electorate, by having one large, long meeting in public, to air out the views of both sides of the current argument. Unfortunately, it turned into the "obama Talk Show", as expected.

When asked in the meeting by a Republican, why the democrats got twice the time to express their views, obama's response was "I am the president."

When one Republican Representative actually used a copy of the 2000 page bill to make a point, obama accused him of using a "prop" to advance his "talking points".

Then, when John McCain expressed his points on the matter, obama declared in a vicious tone, that the presidential campaign is all over.

Definitely, obama did not come across as presidential. Instead, obama appeared sarcastic and bitter that he had to be bothered with this charade at all. Furthermore, the Republican points that they had time to express, were met with no excuses for not implementing them. For example, how in the world can one possibly have a healthcare bill without including Tort Reform?

The people saw obama & his democrat cohorts for what ther were- socialists intent on taking over the healthcare industry by the government. As a result, obama's next-day approval index monitored by Scott Rasmussen, took a drop to -20... take a look;

Olympic Hockey
Yesterday the Canadian team defeated the Russian team.

That was an important game for a couple of reasons. One, is the fact that the loser is totally eliminated from medal contention. That's right... the Russians were sent packing for home. But secondly, the nation of Canada was still smarting from the earlier defeat of Canada by the very young USA team. As a result, the Canadian team had a lot to prove in front of their home fans... and they won with a vengeance.

In fact, even if there was no earlier defeat by the USA, Canada would still have won the game against the Russians. While the Russian forwards were strong enough, and more than capable enough to compete with Canada, the Russian defensemen just could not handle a relentlessly attacking Canadian squad.

The Russian coach seemed to blame his goaltender, but that wasn't the real problem. It was their defense. Too often they just were not around, or were in the wrong place during an attack from their opponents. As a result, the Russian goalie had to move out from the paint and act something like a third defenseman.

Unfortunately for the Russians, that led to a few relatively easy goals by Canada.

If Russia wants to win gold at the Olympics, they will need to give as much attention to their defense as they have to the forwards such as Ovetchkin and Malkin. Offense alone just will not win games against teams like Canada, the USA, or the Czech/Slovak Republics, or the not-too-surprising Swiss.

John McCain : Yet Another RINO Move
McCain is running for re-election as senator from Arizona.

The people of AZ seem to vote against their own interests- much as the morons in Michigan relentlessly elect the very democrats who have systematically destroyed and are now evacuating that state.

But if the choice is only McCain vs a democrat, then one has no choice but to vote for McCain. That seems to have been the situation in the past elections.

However, this year, it is different. McCain has an actual, real, true Conservative running against him in the Republican Primary. We can only hope that J.D. Hayworth will waken enough people in AZ to defeat the RINO, McCain.

It wasn't bad enough that McCain took away your 1st Amendment right to free speech, in his notorious McCain-Feingold Act (an act essentially just reversed by the Supreme Court).

It wasn't enough that McCain prefers the destruction of AZ from within, by providing amnesty to all the illegal aliens there.

It wasn't enough that McCain mocks the efforts of honest people who want official & legal, documentation to verify that obama is Constitutionally qualified to be US President. With obama's Indonesia-Pakistan- Kenya connections, and only a document which professes that a real, witnessed birth certificate exists, it seems that McCain is on the wrong side of an extremely crucial issue.

But all that is just not enough for McCain.

Now he is going after our vitamins. The pharmaceutical industry has convinced McCain to write the "Dietary Supplement Health & Education Act." That legislation will give the FDA the power to essentially strangle the vitamin-mineral-herbal supplement industry. Despite the fact that enormous numbers of the population rely on the supplements to provide preventative care, McCain wants only the drugs that can help, after the fact of an illness. Go figure.

We can only hope that the people of AZ get their minds straightened out before November.

zazi is Unhappy
The guy they caught and charged with attempting to blow up the rush-hour NYC subway system, is unhappy, according to the US legal system.

According to reporting in NewsMax,

"Fordham University School of Law Professor James Cohen said Zazi represents a cautionary tale. He said Zazi, like other Muslims, felt isolated and unhappy with the actions of the United States around the world and its perceived favoritism of Israel.

'They are feeling left out and are very angry about it,' Cohen said. 'That's what we have to come to grips with. An identifiable part of the Muslim population is willing to do just about anything in terms of suicide bombings. Believe it.' "

What? Wasn't he told by obama that he will have to pay his fair share of the new taxes for the health care that obama will give him? How ungrateful.

Hasn't he recognized that the obama government is ultra- anti-Israel?

The greatest failure of the West in recent years, is to mis-interpret the motives of the muslim terrorists, and muslims in general. That is, their koran (as obama described it, a "holy book") teaches that they must eradicate all infidels ( non-muslims). They are just being obedient to their "false" god.

The way to stop the terrorism is to force their teachers to stop the early-age indoctrination of their youth with this garbage... and if that doesn't work, we'll probably need to get the napalm canisters out of storage for WWIII.

A RINO in Massachusetts ?
When Scott Brown won the senate seat from Massachusetts, a lot of Independents and Conservatives thought he would favor economic and political causes to the Right of center.

But Brown is showing that he is just another RINO in the mold of Collins and Snowe from Maine. Perhaps a bit more time is needed to see where Brown lines up- but the early indications are only good for the ultra-left.

The regular RINO's and Brown voted in favor of continuing debate on the "Jobs Bill" in the senate. A "Jobs Bill" has a nice ring to it. But as usual the devil is in the details. So, either Brown did not know the details, or he is in favor of the leftwing claptrap in the bill.

This "Jobs Bill" will spend $15 Billion to create temporary jobs building things like bridges and roads. When the jobs are completed, those same people are again unemployed, and we, are out $15 Billion.

Was Scott Brown aware that there are democrats on record as having said that: since the first stimulus package was a dud... they needed a second stimulus package... but knowing the people wouldn't buy into the notion of a Stimulus #2, they decided to just call it a "Jobs Bill" instead.

So, welcome to Stimulus #2 masquerading as a "Jobs Bill" and thanks to Scott Brown for revealing that he is apparently nothing more than a RINO.

Olympic Hockey
Canadians were shocked by the loss to the USA team last evening.

The Canadian team seemed to have a lot going for it. They are a fast team, with a lot of strength on the boards, and they have some scoring talent that actually know how to finish a shot.

Why did they lose then?

The USA team is younger, overall, and surprisingly able to take and dish it out along the boards. Perhaps most amazing though, is the number of shooters who also can finish a play. Combine that with greater speed than the Canadians, and it becomes easy to see how the USA defeated their NHL rivals.

How about the Russian team? In years past- especially when they could draw talent from the Soviet Union, their teams were "finess" oriented. But in more recent times, the Russians have taken to playing the goon game. They try to win by beating up on their opponents until they are either intimidated or worn down... quite reminiscent of the Phidelphia Flyers of old.

The USA team might not go undefeated in the Olympics, but no team will be able to walk all over them.

obama's Debt Commission

Democrats in the House, the Senate, and the White House are fully aware that they are completely out of control with their federal spending.

But democrats also know that if they cease the wild ride, they will lose a lot of support from the 1/3 of the electorate that is dead set on converting the economic system of the USA to socialism.

To avoid the problem, the democrats willl hide under the cover of a "bipartisan" Debt Commission. That commission will apparently consist of a handful of tired, old washed up democrats & republicans who have found it difficult to stay out off the limelight.

When the commission says that taxes should be increased, then obama can say, " Even though I repeatedly told you no new taxes, my hands are tied... the Debt Commission is forcing my hand." That is the same approach the congress used to close military bases. The congressional gutless wonders wouldn't take the heat for base closings in their own districts, so they established a Base Closing Commission... and that commission took the heat instead.

The Debt Commission is just the latest of the reasons why we need to eliminate the senate- in favor of a body of the 50 governors to work solely on legislation in areas prescribed by the Constitution.

The Debt Commission is also, just the latest of the reasons why we need to eliminate elections for House members- in favor of a state-by-state random drawing of qualified selectees... just as we do for composing trial juries. That's right... jury duty. No more elections for House members. Citizens can serve for one year, and perform only those duties spelled out in the Constitution.

To see how this all could work, click on the "Government" tab in the left panel of this website.

Michigan
The state of being... Michigan. A soorry state, indeed.

I just saw a news report which indicated that in the November elections, the state of Michigan will be strongly in the Democrat pocket.

Is there anybody in that state with an IQ exceeding... say... 3...  ???? {for those of you actually from Michigan, "100" is considered a normal IQ score}

Where have you Michiganers been for the last few decades? How can you perenially permit yourselves to be governed liberals, over & over again- at all levels from mayor -to- governor?

Haven't you been awake while those liberals destroyed your cities, towns, & villages? Your state?

Weren't you watching while your liberal friends "helped" you by overtaxing the very companies that employed you? Didn't you see how the unions were bleeding your employers dry- to the point where they left your state... along with your jobs? Liberal taxing and liberal unions have destroyed your state, and you continue to think that they have concern for your best interests.

moros !

CBS & Sarah Palin
This time, a CBS "journalist" took a swipe at Palin:

"Enthusiasm drives paradigm shifts -- that's one thing we've learned from campaigns past. Palin is a true outsider -- more so than just about any other GOP presidential candidate. She lacks credentials to be president -- and that endears her to the people she is courting. Those credentials -- particularly after a reign of technocracy and a Harvard lawyer in the White House -- are inherently suspect to a large portion of the Republican base."

He says, "She lacks credentials to be president..."

Yet, people on the Right, Center, and left, almost unanimously agree that if a terrorist was captured today, they would prefer that a Palin Administration do the interrogation, rather than the obama administration.

Furthermore, her credentials are legitimately more impressive than obama's. Palin has actually run a city and was cheif executive officer (governor) of the "energy" state (AK)... obama had run nothing... and his lack of experience, and his naivete are on display each day. We also know about Palin- the facts of her past, leading up to her present. We surely cannot say that about obama- the sitting president. Since liberals refuse to allow proper vetting of obama, he not only might not be constitutionally qualified for the job, but some circumstances indicate that he conceivable could even be an illegal alien.

He says, "...after a reign of technocracy and a Harvard lawyer in the White House..."

This statement show that the LWP will do anything to conceal the truth about obama and his administration. Technocracy??? Get real. This is the same obama who has all-but shutdown NASA- an institution that has brought enormous technical improvements to the nation; this is the same obama who will not unleash the technologically improved methods of drilling offshore, for oil and natural gas.

A Harvard lawyer you say? Sounds like one pointy-headed liberal talking about another. In fact, obama has managed to actually "teach" Constitutional Law, without knowledge of the most fundamental principles about that most basic document. His students are to be pitied.

Penetrating Question
Don Imus has a history of denigrating Sarah Palin at every mention of her name on his show.

I heard the following question posed to Don Imus, on his FBN show :

If a terrorist bomber was captured just before exploding his genitals all over an airplane, and you expected another attack was imminent, would you rather have Sarah Palin, or barack obama responsible for interrogating the guy?

The undisputed, and immediate response, was... Sarah Palin.

Despite all the mockery of her mannerisms, and despite the name calling... stupid, ignorant, etc.;  when the chips are down, just like Imus, you'd also pick Palin to do the real "meat & potatos" work of a president.

Also noteworthy, is my expectation that liberals will now, suddenly, stop their mockery of Palin's use of her "hand notes" to remind her of major topics to cover in a speech.

Why?

Simply because there now exists video footage of senator Diane Feinstein (D, CA) giving a speech; and with her hands waving all around, her notes on one hand are clearly visible.

Evenso, there's one thing you can expect from Sarah Palin... she won't be giving a speech and do as obama did- stop in the middle of it, and tell the teleprompter guy to back it up a bit so he can continue to read it word-for-word.

My only problem with Palin, so far at least, is her unwavering support for the RINO, John McLean (R, AZ). When you get right down to the facts, she has some major differences with him on policy, and frankly, seems to agree more with JD Haworth (who hopefully, will replace McLean on the Republican ticket for AZ senator).

Biden's Foot-in-Mouth
Joe Biden is vice-president of the USA. He was the most ignorant chairman of the senate foreign relations committee, and is proving to be the most ignorant VP of all time.

What did he do now?

Ol' Joe made a public statement that he does not expect another massive attack on the homeland, from al qaeda.

Talk about encouraging the enemy... Ol' Joe has just indicated to the terrorists that the USA has finally let its guard down- so they can now proceed to develop their next plan of attack without concern for being caught beforehand.

With obama as president, even if those terrorists are captured, they will be mirandized and gently questioned, and have their parents invited to help in the questioning. Who knows... maybe a plea bargain could be in the works.

Sounds like "aid & comfort" to the enemy.

Bipartisanship & HealthCare
So, obama wants a meeting with both congressional democrats and Republicans. He hopes to lay the groundwork for a bipartisan healthcare bill.

After obama's last visit to the Republicans, the LWP showed TV viewers a presidential- looking obama seeming to preside over a meeting, making the Republicans appear weak and under obama's authority.

Republicans are wary of a repeat of that performance, and will keep their guard up... especially since obama wants this meeting televised, too.

Republicans should not even think about attending such a meeting (Feb. 25) if obama plans the starting point to be the absurd healthcare package fashioned by the house & senate democrats. Republicans should not entertaian the notion of keeping a "government option" in any way, shape, or manner.

Republicans should insist that discussion of any healthcare bill should necessarily include tort reform and the ability to purchase insurance across state lines. The former (tort reform) has a direct & immediate relationship to the amount your doctor charges for an office visit- since the doctor must pay extremely high premiums for malpractice coverage.

A better way would be for Republicans to go into such a meeting, and lay on the table that any federal healthcare proposal is flat outright unconstitutional... and that if people want government involved in healthcare, it is a matter for the individual states to develop and provide (e.g. as in MA). Do the congressional Republicans have the stones for this approach? You betcha... they don't.

obama vs Intellectuality
Newsbusters has a discussion of Time magazine's reference of obama as having "self-made intellectuality."

The article compared Sarah Palin's "lack of knowledge" against the overflowing genius of the obamessiah.

Sarah Palin aside, Time was not joking when it claimed  obama's "self-made intellectuality"

Face it... obama is just a street hustler (i.e, cleaned up, as a 'community organizer') who was hurriedly elected president by people who now have a lot of buyer's remorse.

The "intellectuality" of obama consists, among other things, of...

Not knowing the proper pronunciation of "corps" as in the "Marine Corps", or as in the term for the "medic". Dan Quayle was pilloried by the LWP for much less (tomato - tomatoe; or was it potato?)

Slipping up and believing that the USA consists of 57 states instead of the correct 50. That was no accident since pro-islamic obama apparently thinks a lot more of the 57 member states of the OIC (Organization of the Islamic Conference) than he does of the United States of America.

Thinking that war criminals should be treated as US citizens and put on trial in the US legal system- rather than doing what all presidents before him have done; namely, use the military tribunals for war criminals.

Do I really need to go on (e.g., the healthcare fiasco ) ?  No... you get the idea.

Yes... obama is a lightweight. He has only a fraction of the proven leadership ability of Sarah Palin. Palin has at least governed a state (AK) which is responsible for a huge contribution of the energy needs to the nation as a whole. Obama?  Well, he was just a street organizer-rabble rauser.

That is why we do not take seriously the caricatures and parodies and distortions of Sarah Palin. Democrats are afraid of her since she is well liked by the masses, and has that Conservative message so abhorrent to the libero-socialists who infest this nation.

Jamaican Bobsled Team
Well it had to happen, I guess. The Jamaican bobsled team has failed to qualify for the upcoming winter Olympics.

Darn... we were all starting to get used to the screams of horror from that team as their bobsled hurled itself down the track, apparently approaching the speed of light while fully out of control.

Oh well... better luck next time.

By the way... the pakistani, iraqi, and afghani Olympic Hockey teams have packed up & left before the qualifying round was over- apparently when they found out that explosives were not going to be allowed as part of the game.

U.S. Faults Command Over Afghan Ambush That Killed 8
That title apeared today in a story over at NewsMax.com.

While 5 American soldiers died in that ambush (and three Afghani's), there were 150 terrorists killed in their own ambush.

The high command in the US, is blaming the lower level command of US troops for this ambush, because the soldiers were apparently supposed to be given the order to pack up and leave that area- well before the attack.

The US high command however, shouldn't be so quick to pounce on the lower level US leaders. They should first check with the foreign commanders in the chain who were between the high command and the US lower level command. Often, it seems that in NATO exercises, things don't get done because of  language communications problems as orders are passed down the circuitous chain... kind of like the building of the Tower of Babel. Also, the foreign commanders are much less trained... and have much less information with which to work... and are often jealous of the leadership relationship among US military leaders.

If an admixture of leadership was involved, then the US should require that US soldiers be given orders only from US personnel.

Gays & Liberal Talk Radio
I sometimes listen in on liberal talk radio, to see how they are currently twisting and otherwise contorting truth.

Today, on one such show, I came across a caller who is opposed to obama's new policy on gays in the military (obama's plan to abrogate 'Don't Ask, Don't tell' ).

The caller expressed his belief based on the Bible, that homosexuality is a perversion, and an abomination before God. The liberal talk host indicated that he (the host) had a master's degree in religious studies. He went on, to demand that the caller identify any location in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John- wherein Jesus himself expressed any opposition to homosexuality.

The caller could not, of course, because there is no such declaration by Jesus, in the four Gospels. The libHost then indicated that since Jesus did not consider it important enough to talk about it, then it must not be important.

This libHost with his masters degree in religion is a great example of someone having been (mis)-educated... or indoctrinated in a belief system that runs contrary to the Word of God. What a waste of time and energy.

The libHost does not understand that Jesus' purpose here, was to die for the sins of man. Jesus left the details of life on earth... esp. the Church, to his Apostles as they spread out after the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. It is in those details in the rest of the New Testament where the Apostles declare Jesus' view that homosexuality is abominable.

Where did the Apostles get their information that God hates the sinful practices of gays? The Apostles  explicitly got it from Jesus Christ himself. Here's how the Apostle Paul put it :

Galatians 1:11-12
" I want you to know brothers, that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ. "

Definitely, then, the Apostles wrote the whole New Testament under the Authority of Jesus Christ. Since there are unequivocal expressions against homosexuality in the New Testament (e.g., I Cor. 6:9 and Rom 1:26-27), we do indeed have Jesus' declarations against the perversions of the gay lifestyle.

The libHost's argument is indeed a fallacious one... a distortion of God's Word.

Obama & the Federal Budget
The federal budget under obama will become his declared, $3.8 trillion.

Every once in a while, it helps to put that number into perspective. To simplify it here, let's say it is $4 trillion.

Thinking in terms of paper money, lets say we have a single "billion dollar bill" in our hands. Well obama wants to spend 4000 of those "billion dollar bills". Further, lets say you went to the store to get change for that single "billion dollar bill." Your change would consist of 1000 "one-million dollar bills".

Where's obama going to get that money? Interviews of US Blacks on the street, indicate they think he'll get it from his "stash" or they simply say, "I don't know... but he's gonna pay my morgage."

Well, he thinks he's going to get the money by rescinding the GWB tax cuts "for the rich." The "rich" are those who actualy pay in excess of 90% of all tax revenue already... and whose wealth creates jobs. Those jobs are long term, of the permanent type- as opposed to government make-work jobs  which are always temporary. Rescinding the GWB tax cut will be a tax hike for the "rich." Obama thinks that will raise revenue to the treasury. In the very short term, it will do just that. But then the "rich" will become de-incentivized, and stop producing that wealth with the sweat of their brow... and the intermediate-long term result will be a reduction of revenue to the treasury because of the tax hike. This phenomenon has been proven to be valid unser several presidential administrations... among them, Kennedy, Reagan, and GW Bush.

The economy will take a nose-dive under obama's budget.
